Rafael Cruz

Rafael Cruz is a visual artist and specialist in high-end architectural finishes based in Houston, Texas. With a strong foundation in fine arts and more than two decades of experience in mural painting, sculpture, and portraiture developed throughout Cuba and Mexico (including notable projects in cities such as Holguín and Mazatlán), Rafael approaches each interior space as an extension of the artist's canvas.

His work brings together the sensitivity of traditional art with a deep technical understanding of contemporary decorative finishes. As the principal artist behind his decorative finishes studio, he leads the application of Venetian plasters, clay finishes, and custom textures, transforming walls, ceilings, and architectural surfaces into one-of-a-kind works defined by visual impact, craftsmanship, and lasting quality.

Working closely with interior designers, architects, and residential and commercial clients throughout the Greater Houston area, Rafael combines technical precision, skilled craftsmanship, and a comprehensive artistic vision to create sophisticated, inviting, and enduring environments.
